What We Believe

Core doctrinal convictions that shape our understanding of God, Scripture, and the Christian life

    God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in power, glory, and substance. God is the Creator of all things, sovereign over history, and intimately involved with His creation.

    Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man, born of the Virgin Mary. Through His sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension, He has accomplished our complete salvation and now reigns at the Father's right hand.

    The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells all who trust in Christ, and empowers us for holy living and effective ministry.

    Scripture

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, authoritative, sufficient, and trustworthy in all matters of faith and practice. We interpret Scripture through the lens of Christ and His finished work.

    Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. It is not earned by works but is a free gift from God, resulting in justification, regeneration, adoption, and ultimately glorification. In Christ, believers are made new creations with a transformed nature.

    The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, consisting of all who have been born again by the Spirit of God. The Church is called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission, proclaiming the gospel and embodying the kingdom of God in the world.

    The Kingdom

We believe that through Christ's life, death, and resurrection, God's kingdom has been inaugurated and is advancing in the world. While we await the consummation of the kingdom at Christ's return, we participate now in kingdom life through union with Christ.

    The Christian Life

We believe the Christian life is not one of moral self-improvement but of transformation through union with Christ. Empowered by the Holy Spirit and secure in our identity as God's beloved children, we grow in holiness not through striving but through receiving and responding to God's grace.

    Final Hope

We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the establishment of new heavens and a new earth where righteousness dwells. Our ultimate hope is the full revelation of the sons of God and perfect communion with our Creator.

"These beliefs are not merely theological abstractions but the foundation for a life of freedom, joy, and transformation in Christ. They shape how we understand God's character, our identity, and the nature of the Christian life—a life lived not under the burden of performance but in the freedom of grace."
